Learning and the New Sciences

At LeaderStrength™ Systems, Inc., we are on the cutting edge of the new scientific paradigm for learning, performance, and change.  The New Sciences provide an entirely new way to see and operate in our organizations and our lives.  Perhaps you have read or studied information available via the work of professionals such as Margaret Wheatley (Leadership and the New Sciences).  We’ve found, however, that while most practitioners are excited about the concepts, they haven’t found a good way to bring this framework into their day-to-day work.

What thought leaders are saying about the new sciences

Industry leader Warren Bennis, interviewed in the January 2003 issue of T+D, an ASTD publication, said this:

"I think our field may become a dead end . . . we are still in diapers about our understanding of [leadership development].  And unless we learn a lot more about the neurosciences, cognitive psychology, anthropology, and human development, we'll remain in the dark.  And in wet diapers."

Do you want to be a leader who incorporates this valuable information in your work?

We can assist you.  One of our missions is to bring the information from the new sciences to the application level for learning and performance professionals.  We work with trainers, coaches, educators, OD practitioners, and human performance technologists to assist them in becoming experts on how learning and change occur from the cellular level, to the personal level, to the cultural and organizational level . . . and on the quantum level that makes all these separate levels the same.

Essential Expertise

We call this information “essential expertise” because we feel it’s essential to design training, performance, and OD initiatives in alignment with the latest information from science.  Attend one of our workshops, partner with us on a leadership project, or simply stay connected with us via our newsletter ScienceStrength, and you will build your own expertise in learning and change. Being an expert allows you to:

Utilize and share new information with business colleagues and clients

Be seen as a valuable asset to your organization

Partner with other experts in your organization to create lasting change
